Our starting point. We seem to run into a lot of streams on these trips.

There's always roads around too.
Go figure.

A scenic waterfall. We've driven by this thing probably a bazillion and a half times, but you never can have enough pictures of these, now can you?
Main Street America. Reminds you of the revolutionary period, doesn't it? I prefer these days however. Back then we'd be staring up the backside of a horse.

There was a lot of this kind of thing on the trip.
New Jersey doesn't have a lot of open space left.

So it's town after town.
Broken up by semi-urban residences.
Lots of construction going on (which is of course how it got this way).

Every once in a while you'd hit an open stretch, but not often enough, if you ask me.
You mean you didn't ask?

You weren't the least bit interested in our opinion?
Man, that hurts.
Give me a minute while I get another beer.
I need it to ease the pain.

Now that you're feeling guilty, let us tell you how much better life could be.

If only we were in charge.
So the next time you find yourself in the voting booth

Make sure you write in UV for President.
Picture this (Ha! Ha!. In the middle of the picture section of the site)
We're driving around through urban sprawl hell. Large houses. Shopping centers. Gas stations. Commercial districts. Etc. Etc. Etc
And we come across...

Lilliput! Tiny houses with barely enough room for a pregnant ant to navigate between. Who'd buy these?
This is the point of the trip that we ran out of continent. If we travelled any further East (which is the direction of this shot) and we would have needed a boat.
